Charlie

Hi Sandy

I wanted to send you this picture of Charlie. That’s what we named him. He is doing great. He is such a good dog and so very smart. I ended up hanging some bells on the doors so he can hit them when he has to go outside and its been working great. He would sit by the door when he would need out side but I couldn’t see him and he hardly ever barks. Yes I caved he does sleep with us right in the middle or on the pillows. He  is now trained to sit ,lay down and stay. Not bad for 5 months. He sits so patiently on the steps outside when we go out to get the paper in the morning because he knows not to go to the road. He loves going to my moms she has a daycare and he loves the kids. I don’t know anyone who has this kind of dog so I didn’t know really what to expect for sure. He is exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you  again,

Dakota

Happy Holidays, Sandy!

Thought I'd send you a few pics of Dakota, my BIG, 6-month old baby.  I took him up to Mt. Charleston which is about 30 miles NW of Vegas at about an elevation of 4700 feet.  He loved the snow.

He's about 65 pounds now and I love him to death.  His only fault is his "teething".  Sometimes I don't think he'll ever outgrow that, and I'm usually his "chew toy".

I hope you continue to breed Bernese, because one of these days I may come to you for another just like him!!

 Have a wonderful holiday!

Karly

Sandy, just updating you on how Karly is doing. Everything is going great. She and Sasha get along really well. They play all the time. She is going nonstop, tons of energy. Chewing, chewing, chewing, on anything and everything. We are always pulling something out of her mouth. She is an absolute sweetheart. She already sits on command and will come when called most of the time( still working on this one ). We could spend hours just watching the 2 dogs play, it is so much fun. We will send some pictures soon as we have taken some real cute ones. Thank you once again for a fabulous puppy. Talk to you soon.

IF A DOG WAS YOUR TEACHER,
you would learn stuff like.....
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it's in your best interest -- practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps and stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently

Holly

Sandy, It has been a month ago today that I picked up Raphael/Holly at the Tulsa airport.  We have enjoyed her so much!  Holly and her big sister, Hannah, are the best of friends.  It has made us realize how lonely our Hannah must have been.  They play all the time and Hannah takes Holly and teaches her things, it is amazing.  I am attaching a few pictures so you can see our happy little girl.  She really is a sweet puppy and tries so hard to please.  She’s spoiled and sleeps in the bed with us – two dogs and my husband and I.  This summer she will get to go to our lake home and hang out on the dock and ride around in the cabin cruiser with us.  She will have a pampered life.  Thank you so much.
